    This week we have been hearing about the impact of personal stress on making good business decisions. 

    At Excelerant, we believe that connection in conversation with other leaders during this time can provide both reassurance and clarity.  Every day, we listen to business leaders and help them solve their challenges.  This puts us in a unique position to find commonalities in challenges that business leaders are facing during Covid-19.  

    We have decided to nurture these conversation by posting Conversation Starters for Leaders  

    As we hear common challenges that our clients are facing, we will share them with you to start a conversation either here with us online or among your own leadership team or peer group

    While skills and concepts look different at each level, “coachees” can all expect to:

    1. Gain Awareness

      Gain a greater awareness of how others perceive them as a leader and recognize their natural leadership talents.  Identify specific goals, challenges and opportunities for growth and development.

    2. Explore Possibilities

      Explore the possible challenges to the achievement of goals and reflect on how success is impacted by thoughts, communication and actions. Identify and realize possible solutions and actions to achieve success.

    3. Develop Strengths & Achieve Goals

      Identify, commit to and practice new actions to become a more effective leader. Target new areas of growth such as: strategic vision, decision-making, communication with peers & direct reports, productivity through delegation, conflict, adapting to change, and giving performance feedback.
